KUNMING TO TENGCHUNG TO DINJAN

Russell Coldren, 01/06/45, C-47 #77.
4 killed. C/P: K.W. Chen, R/O: V.N. Chow, R/O in training: G. Tai (all Chinese crew). Russ left Kunming for Tengchung but was unable to land due to bad weather. Then Russ headed for Dinjan. Severe ice and turbulence with 100 mph wind from southwest. There is no record that the plane has ever been found.
