I am trying to find out if my uncle was a survivor of the Cabanatuan Prison Camp. His name was Wilbur W. Heinsohn. He served in the U.S. Army and would have been in his 30's. I recall "Corregidor" and "Bataan Death March" being mentioned concerning his captivity and his miraculous repatriation after 3 years of either POW or MIA. My Uncle was taken to Japan via a ship. He was in a camp some where in Japan. Sadly he passed away about 8 years ago.

The movie "The Great Raid" coming out today has rekindled my curiosity. I have not been able to find any kind of survivor's list on the web at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
