Susan Oleta Scott was born July 5, 1915, in Chillicothe, Hardeman County, Texas. She was the seventh child born to Lewis and Frankie Scott. Susan Oleta became known as Oleta to her family and friends.
On September 2, 1933, in ???, Texas, she married Hershel Shidles Marshall. They had five children: Bobbie Delane, Betty Lenore, Wanda Lee, Susan, and Patricia.
Hershel passed in 1982 and was buried in ???, Texas. Oleta passed on in 1987 and was buried in Jourdanton, Texas.
Oleta and Hershel are survived by their 5 children, plus many grand and great grand babies.
