January 12, 2018 Sandra (Gil's daughter) sends me two pictures of her parents wedding. And two more names surface, Rom and Alice Puryear, who stood up for Gilmore V. Minnis and Viola M. Farris. Can you identify any of the folks in this photo? Using Ancestry.com I was able to find the Puryear's surviving daughter,Susan. I contacted Susan on FaceBook and will be talking with her tomorrow afternoon, February 18, 2018. More to follow... It has taken over 80 years for these photos to reach Susan and family. I'm very happy to have completed another part of these pictures' long journey. It may yet have other lives to follow and live with. Stay tuned... Update - February 21, 2018 Susan tells me that she has never seen these fotos before and that is her mother Alice, but the guy on the far left is not her father. Just another trail for me, Sandra and Susan to follow, hoping that we might be able to identify all this folks at some point...
