December 20, 2016 Good afternoon, My name is Dave Lu living in New York. CNAC’s tragedy on October 29, 1940 was related to me. Miss Lu Mei Ying who was killed in the attack is my father’s aunt. I was in Nanking, China for the last 2 weeks doing my research and TV show about Miss Lu. I have collected few items and information about her. I would like to know if your people have any of her story to share with. The Museum in Nanking will have a special exhibit for Miss Lu in July, 2017. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks. Regards, Dave Lu ( LUD@coned.com ) April 3, 2019 Then, with Angie Chen's help, I received the following. I am so greatful to Dave and Angie. (Because of three major system crashes these messages were lost until November 30, 2021.) Hi Tom, Attached please find some old pictures of CNAC flight attendant Ms. Lu Mei Ying. Recently I established connection with Ms. Lu's grand nephew Dave Lu. Dave Lu is working in NYC. He discovered the old photos of his grand auntie in recent years. The photos definitely help disclose more background stories about Ms. Lu, who was killed along with Walter Kent October 29,1940. 1. Lu Mei Ying in 1938 Click here for a larger version. 2.
