XV DINGZHONG

Born 1916. In August 1937 he joined CAP aviaition engineering school in Hangchow. Graduated in 1940 and became air mechanic. In 1941 learned to fly. In 1942 he was with the AVG's Chinese staff department. Early in 1943 he was hired by CNAC as a copilot; flying the Hump between India and Kunming until August 1945.

His son, CAAC Historian Xv GuoJi, will be providing additional information about his father.
