From the 1998 CNAC Mailing List: Gone to Hoggy Tau Myers Frank March 16, 2010 Tom, Yes, I remember Frank Myers clearly. He managed the Calcutta crew hostel. He was a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Management ( I think all three of our hostel managers were. I know Jake Fassett at Dinjan was.) and I was a Cornell engineer. I went with Frank on one of his shopping trips into Calcutta. I describe that in the CNAC part of my long story,"Learning To Fly" I think you have that. If not, I'll send you a copy. The "Living conditions at CNAC" part is 5 or 6 pages long. There are other stories, too. If you want that stuff, let me know, and don't dawdle.. After all, I'm pushing 90. Giff or would like to be added to the CNAC e-mail distribution list, please let the CNAC Web Editor, Tom Moore, know. Thanks! |
