 American Volunteer Group In the 1943-45 log book of Don McBride, Stanley listed his job as "MECH EX-AVG" and his address as:  Stanley Regis 78 Spruce St. Rumford Maine Stanley Regis died February 29, 1980 in Capetown, Republic of South Africa. He married Sheila Cherry, March 2, 1946 in Durban, South Africa. We have not been able to find Sheila or if they had any children, but do believe that Sheila and Stanley had been living in South Africa for several years.
