Miss Young worked for CNAC in 1948 in Shanghai as a office clerk. Her last name was Yang. I'm not sure of her Chinese first name, but I'm working on it. Miss Yang was married to Art Chin.

Vivienne was the widow of Art Chin. Vivienne passed away January 22, 2007. On January 27th, a memorial service was held in Beaverton, Oregon.

According to Margaret Mun Soong, Vivienne worked at the Lungwha Airport in Shanghai, in the office as maybe a typist. Margaret thinks that Vivienne also worked in Hong Kong when CNAC moved to Hong Kong. Margaret says that Vivienne was not a CNAC flight attendant.

Mom went by the name Vivienne Young. She always told me that it was the French spelling. Mom came from a very wealthy family in Shanghai. Her father was a chemist. She was one of six siblings. From the time she was five years old, she was privately tutored in French and English. She was very fluent in both. She always reviewed our homework papers correcting our English grammar and punctuation. After she passed away, I took her ashes to Shanghai where we placed her ashes with her parents.
