Watch this first, but skip the ads. Tom, I am still stuck in this history of when these men flew the raids over Tokyo and landed in China because the fuel they carried from the carriers wasn't enough for them to make it home. Their stories aren't wildly told and only a few that had families that served during this period remember the stories and heroism of this time. My mother came from this area of China that the Japanese occupied. So I find this movie and what it portrays very important for me. Mother suffered under the hands of the Japanese my dad met her and they married in Shanghai. I once told my brother about these men my father flew with when they gathered for my dads funeral. I told my brother to take a look at these men their unique story about this time is dying with them. I treasure this story and the men that served during WWII and after. It is my heritage and am greatful to know as much as I know about this time and the men in it. Respectfully, Greg Letts or would like to be added to the CNAC e-mail distribution list, please let the CNAC Web Editor, Tom Moore, know. Thanks! |
