He had been with the AVG. Good friend of Bob Prescott. He was killed in early 1944 following Prescott through a pass. And I found his airplane." From Gene Banning's list: "... His "date" with Madame Chiang was written up in the fraternity's magazine, The Rattle of Theta Chi (sorry---exact citation presently unavailable).
